NDC provides clients with experienced consultants, who are trained to diagnose problems and create viable, long term solutions. All consultants follow the NDC Diversity Collaborative Consulting Model . Respect for the Individual and the privacy of the organization are guiding principles at NDC. Every consultation starts with a specific diagnosis. Once the issues have been identified, a specific action plan involving customized training and other development efforts to create sustainable results is developed.

Diagnostics

When we enter an organization, we investigate the areas of concern from all angles through exploratory surveys and focused interviews. We gather experiences within the organization from members at all levels and occupations to get a wholistic image from a variety of perspectives. Appropriate validated instruments are used to collect, analyze and plan specific solutions. Results of the diagnosis are shared as an aggregate with the client.

Action plan

NDC consultants live and work in regions where they consult. This allows us to focus on the nuances of the region that are relevant to the diversity experiences of the client. NDC team members are diverse with academic and practical expertise (scholar/practitioners). They draw upon knowledge gained in multiple industries and interdisciplinary experiences (including higher education and government), while using their networks to meet the needs of the client. As a result, the action plans created are well thought out and viable within the specific organizational cultures.

Training

While NDC provides comprehensive services, stand-alone diversity consultant services are available (i.e. job coaching, diversity conflict resolution intervention, training diversity ambassadors, research, etc.). We have qualified consultants that customize the training to the needs of your organization and deliver training utilizing the most effective methods to achieve their goals. Of utmost importance to NDC is sustainability. The NDC approach ensures that sustainability is embedded in the clients’ core diversity strategy and the agreed upon solutions strengthen their business.
